Front view of Bethany Bethany Baptist Church is located in the Dulais Valley. Bethany is the last remaining non-conformist English spoken chapel in Seven Sisters. However, the building has recently faced structural damage and we are seeking funds to restore damage. The front wall of the building is moving away from the main part of the building.

The congregation is now worshipping with a neighbouring Welsh speaking chapel while Sandra Frost (Secretary), Adriana and I are seeking funds to restore the building. Before the bad news concerning the deterioration of the building, we were raising the profile of Bethany in the community with a view of attracting families to the church. Congregation of Bethany and the 2006 MJUK team We were carrying open-air services in the square, visiting the local shools and running a Sunday School in addition to the weekly Sunday service and monthly book sales the Chapel members were holding. We aim to restore this work and extend it to into other fields ministering to the young and elderly in the area. For now this project has become a "paperwork" excercise, scripting letters and applications for funds to fix the damage to the building.
